My Journey
I was born in Pennsylvania and lived there until I was eight before moving to Massachusetts, where I spent most of my childhood. Now, when Iām not at school in Michigan, I live in North Carolina. Experiencing different places and environments has given me a broader perspective and strengthened my ability to adapt, communicate, and connect with different types of people.
At the University of Michigan, I initially entered college interested in psychology, but I also found myself drawn to marketing, communications, economics, and data science. I eventually discovered Organizational Studies through the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts because it most closely aligned with the interdisciplinary subjects I was interested in, blending psychology, sociology, and economics into one degree.
During my freshman year, I was introduced to the University of Michigan School of Information. What started as an interest in UX Design quickly grew into a deeper interest in information science and the ways technology, design, and data can work together to improve user experiences.
Now, as a rising junior pursuing both degrees, I hope to break into product management by combining strong communication and problem solving skills with a growing technical foundation. Through both Organizational Studies and Information Science, I aim to bring a thoughtful, user focused perspective to the products and teams I work with.
